Wenns nur um die Aufnahme der Geräusche der Nacht im Schlaf geht,nutze ich seit Jahren sehr zufrieden den SleepRecorder,
aber diese App hier, sogar Deutsch lokalisiert,macht auch einen klasse aufgeräumten Eindruck.

Mal sehen ob diese App mein SleepRecorder ablöst.

Hab die App nach einiger Zeit des testens für OK befunden,
aber reicht nicht an den "SleepRecorder" ran und somi bleibt SleepRekorder meine erste Wahl!

I love how these trolls are like "why would I want to monitor my snoring" "must we have a monitor for everything?"

No, of course not, it's an app for people that for some reason want one, you think every app made must be something you personally want you f'd idiots?

I've got a roommate who snores through the damn walls and he has been using random sleep recorder apps to see if he can figure out something to stop it, so yeah, there's a market for this random niche thing, get your heads out of your asses.

He might have sleep apnea. He should have a sleep study done. They attach electrodes to your head while you sleep over and they monitor you to see if you stop breathing. My hubby has it. He's supposed to use a CPAP machine, but he's being an ass. So, I Increased his life insurance coverage. Sleep apnea can kill.

Lot of people have sleep apnea and can't be bothered getting treatment for it.

I have sleep apnea, when the hospital here opened a sleep clinic I went in (early 90’s) and yes they have everything monitored, took them about a half hour to hook everything up then you sleep. In my case they said I stopped breathing over 100 times in the first hr so they put me on their Cpap that can figure out how much air is needed. When I got up they gave me the info and went and got a cpap. First didn't have a humidifier but I got a different one that does. Latest one is an Everest and has both humidifier and battery pack so I don't have to have 110volts all the time. Battery will last about two nights.

Best thing I did and my wife really appreciates it to. She sleeps much better because I don't snore with the Cpap and it's quiet. I also find I need less sleep, about 6 hrs now and I don't fall asleep in the evening like I used to.

I do use apps like snore lab and I got my son to use if with his gf who was not interested in going to the sleep lab (up until a few months ago) she just got her Cpap and sleeps much better as does my son.

Yes, people that snore should go to the doctor and get into the sleep clinic. I snored a lot when I was younger and still would if I don't use the cpap..
Probably one of the best things I did. Way back in the eighties then opened the sleep clinic in one of the hospitals and I got in. They wire you up and have rooms with beds and cameras and they said normally they will let you sleep till around 2:30 or 3am then the rest of the night they have you on their cpap that can vary the airflow to see where you need it.
People with sleep apnea sometimes stop breathing for a fraction of a second. I know I had issues because sometimes you stop breathing and the body tries to get you going again and you wake and in my case sit up and your spend a full seconds trying to suck air in. At the sleep clinic they let me sleep for just over an hour. They said I stopped breathing over 100 times. Put me on their cpap for the rest of the night. I woke up the next morning and felt a lot better then normal. Since then I have had a few cpap machines, the current one is nice because it runs on either batteries or plugged in. Batteries will last a couple nights and I have two so are batteries which is nice when we travel.
If you snore you probably have sleep apnea and you will find you sleep better with less sleep then before so get into the sleep lab. If you don't know where it is talk to your doctor as they will in most cases have to refer you anyways.

Sometimes hard for people to go see a doctor but you have to find the time to. I went to the doctor this morning and he thinks I got a concussion yesterday. So I have new stronger pain killers for a couple days. I am still having some concentration problems but he thinks it will keep getting better. Later I have to go get my knees x-rayed, he thinks I might have cracked the one kneecap.

Sleep apnea is actually not difficult to diagnose.
If you have problems where you fall asleep, wake up but still feel tired. I used to come home from work and if I sat down I would drop off to sleep.
Tired all the time, simply because you are never in a comfortable rest state, difficulty at work etc keeping your eyes open. Every time you stop breathing even for a brief second your mind can't get relaxed.
Since I got the cpap I sleep on average about 6 hours and I don't have the tiredness all the time. With the cpap I don't snore so my wife also sleeps better ��

Yes, I agree with Izmini as well. My dad snores, but also has Sleep Apnea, which causes some people who snore to actually stop breathing while they're sleeping, thus also interfering with the quality of sleep they get and the length of time they have uninterrupted sleep. My dad wakes up so many times during the night that he's always so tired during the day. He falls asleep quite often during the day because of this. It's a joke in our family he could fall asleep in the middle of a tsunami, but in reality, it's not funny at all because each time he quits breathing, is one more time he could very well never wake up again. It could kill potentially him if he doesn't begin to breath quick enough when it happens. It's very scary, as his daughter, but he won't go to a doctor for it because he's seen the cpap device he would have to wear (that Izmini mentioned), that aids in preventing Sleep Apnea, and he doesn't like it, so would refuse to wear it. It's very frustrating to me, though! (I'm just thankful I don't have to sleep in the same room with him, or I'd never get any sleep!!! Lol! I'm unable to sleep when someone is snoring - drives me crazy! Lol!)

I realize that the disorder and serious and for this I think the correct way is that medical, and try to help dads understand that the children just want to help them, at least you Angidazee dad you have not already, I would have also liked to I have it here with any problem, eh! but i can't ��, but I understand that you can not always be in tension for problems that can be solved, enough for me to make people understand that this is a problem that their lives can be improved, and lasts many times is, however, I m sure you ll have a way to understand the importance of what your father, and where you will be very hard not to worry they will think your kids give a shock to your dad. You know me pleasure every time with you and other friends Izmini chat that go beyond the App, too and grow. Yes some don't like the headpiece that you wear.
There are different types some work for one and not the other. My daughter for years worked for a respiratory company so she was always getting the new stuff. Coincidentally my wife at the same time worked for the same type of company, only 750kms between us ��
I got to try some. The one I use has nasal pillows so basically only covers the nostrils but there is also a mask type that covers both nose and mouth. My daughter had me try one that was only a mouthpiece and left nostrils open. Problem I had was the shape and it went so far back in the mouth that many people gag on it. I did not like the full mask either.
Other thing most people get wrong is noise the cpap makes but again cheaper machines are noisier.
Through my wife's work we could buy a new cpap every couple of years and they covered 80% of the cost. The cpap I have runs off batteries or plugged in or in the car and it is very quiet.

The big thing is to get people to at least try it, most are amazed (like I was) how big a difference it makes and for me, so what if it makes me look like an alien ��

I did crack the kneecap but they can' treacly do a lot, just give me more pain killers and anti-inflammatory pills to keep swelling down. Had the doctor tell me that I might have to wear good knee pads if I am out again ��. I do have some good ones too �� when we were renovating the floor in our house I spent a lot of time on my knees so I bought a good set that have gel padding instead of foam. Still not sure if the doctor was kidding ��
