The developer has managed to make the two apps, B&W FX and Vintage FX much more stable up to a max 4096 on the long side. Go over that (4288 tested) and it crashes trying to process the preset FX. It is much improved over the previous versions, and I can live with the 11mp limits. I really like the effects in both apps, nice large "live" presets that show the loaded image. The IAP to get rid of the ads AND support hi-res was worth it to me.

The Vintage in a photo and really very nice, App very simple and interesting, and adjust the presets can be previewed on their photos and the maximum resolution and 4096x4096. Then there are all the ability to crop and rotate the image. Really comprehensive and easy !!!

Yesterday's update is still unstable when loading images above the 4096 long-side save limit. Resize your images before loading and the app performs well. Don't resize a 12mp and get crashes or images that disappear after processing, leaving only the colored overlay. This app has the same issues as this Dev's other B&W FX app. Still, it is a worthy offering.

Die App gefällt mir gut. Aus der Auflösung werde ich jedoch (noch) nicht schlau. Ich erhielt die unterschiedlichsten Ergebnisse, die sich jetzt auf eine Auflösung von 6528x4896 eingependelt haben (egal ob die Fotos importiert oder direkt mit der App aufgenommen wurden). Die Ausgabegrösse habe ich auf 'up to 4096x4096 px' gestellt. Bis jetzt nur auf einem 5s getestet.

'Zum Glück' war der Preis über der Schmerzgrenze, ich war auch versucht sie zu kaufen. �� ist natürlich toll und dann noch so schnell.

Und ja, sieht fast so aus. �� Sie fing bei 1280 (jeweils längsseits) an, steigerte sich auf die zu erwartenden 4096, und pendelte sich auf die 6528 ein. Das 4096-er wollte ich testweise nochmals bearbeiten und habe da 8192 rausbekommen. �� 6528 nimmt sie aber nicht nochmal an, und wehrt sich mit Absturz.

So ne app ist ja auch nur ein Mensch. ������ ich teste sie mal auf dem 5pod. Mal sehen, was sie da macht. Durch die taru stehen jetzt ja genügend große Fotos zur Verfügung. ��

I hope so! It's strange, i had this too, a few times. The last time @Bernhard reminded me having a look again (a few hours later) and i could get the App. Because of the time difference this is normal between USA and for expl. Europe. But don't know why this sometimes happen's within Europe.

Unfortunately I have already dropped at least a couple of times, you must wait because they explained to me that it can happen and between AZ and App Store, so it may be in doubt look. At best, I'll take it later. thanks Me. know how and ended the last time I downloaded an App convinced that it was free and then they charged me? I deleted the app in protest !! That is also right (difference between AppZapp and AppStore).

But in this case i was able to load it very early today (AppStore showed free). I thought you've seen that i own the App. Because of that i was writing my comment to you, like i did.

Edit: I see that our german friend's can load it too. Maybe you try it again later on.

I like this app, and the companion app B&W FX by the same developer. The app saves at full resolution up to 4096 on each (or the long) side, but struggles above 8mp. The dev is aware of the problem. The really interesting issue s on the iPad Air, any size image loaded from the camera roll, if any one of the Presets are applied, the image saved is 4 times the size of the original. My 8mp image is saved at 32mp! This doesn't happen on the ipad2, not does it happen on the Air if an Adjust(ment) is applied. Only when one of the many Presets are applied. And not surprisingly, this happens with both apps on the Air. I have provided full details to the developer, who seems very interested in getting to the apps fixed.
